All the ways to top up your Bitsa card
You run out of balance on your Bitsa card and need to top up. You can do it with crypto, by bank transfer, with another card, with a physical voucher or by moving balance from another Bitsa card. Not all methods are credited at the same speed, so the one you choose depends on whether you need the money right now or whether it can wait.
Top up with cryptocurrencies
If you already have cryptocurrencies, you can use them to top up your Bitsa card. From the app, choose the cryptocurrency you want to use and the amount and the app will generate an address for you to send that amount from your wallet or exchange. Once the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, the balance appears on your card. The confirmation time depends on the network you use, not on Bitsa: when the network is clear, it can arrive in minutes; when traffic is high, it may take longer.

Top up by bank transfer
The most common option for anyone who does not have crypto at hand is a bank transfer: you send money from your bank to the IBAN associated with your Bitsa card. This is, by far, the slowest of the five options. The usual timeframe is 24 to 72 working hours, and weekends do not count. If you need the balance for a specific payment on a fixed date, this is the countdown you need to consider in advance, not the day before.
Top up with a card
You can also top up using another bank or credit card as the source of funds. The whole process is done from the app: choose how much you want to add, enter the details of that card and confirm the operation.
Top up with a voucher
This method works differently from the others because it starts outside the app. You buy a voucher with a code at an authorised physical point of sale, then enter that code in the Bitsa app or website. The balance arrives in seconds. It is the option for anyone who prefers to pay in cash and does not want to depend on crypto, a bank or another card. To find where to buy one, the app has a map in the “points” section that shows the nearest location.

Transfer between Bitsa cards
If you already have balance on a Bitsa card, it does not need to leave the Bitsa ecosystem to reach another one. You can move it directly to another Bitsa card, either yours or someone else’s, using the phone number or the CODE of the card receiving the money. The transfer is immediate: it leaves one card and appears on the other with no waiting time. This option makes sense when you want to split an expense with someone who also uses Bitsa, or when you have several cards yourself and need to move balance between them.

Which method should you choose?
You can top up Bitsa with crypto, by bank transfer, with a card, with a voucher or by moving balance from another Bitsa card. Three of those five methods credit the balance in seconds: crypto, voucher and transfers between cards. Bank transfer is the only one that requires planning one to three days ahead. Choosing the right method is the difference between having the balance when you need it or being left waiting.
