Which Bitsa plan is right for you?
Bitsa plans, Free, Move and Pro, are designed for very different ways of using the prepaid card. Keeping it for the occasional online purchase is not the same as using it as your main payment method, separating expenses across cards or moving money by transfer on a regular basis.
Before looking at the price, it is worth understanding what each plan unlocks and who it is best suited to. That way, you choose based on how you use Bitsa, not by trying to read columns in a pricing table.
Free plan: to get started at no cost
The Free plan has no monthly or annual fee. It includes one virtual card and one physical card, with a maximum balance of €2,500 and a purchase limit of €1,500. You can top up with cryptocurrencies and also with an external card. For this specific top-up method, you get two free top-ups for life. From the third one onwards, a 1.5% fee applies, with a daily external card top-up limit of €100.
This plan is a good fit if you want to try Bitsa before deciding whether a paid plan is worth it, if you are looking for a secondary card for occasional online purchases or payments you would rather not charge to your main account, or if you use the prepaid card infrequently and do not need higher limits or extra features.

Move plan: for regular use
The Move plan costs €0.99 per month or €8.99 per year. It increases the limit to three virtual cards and two physical cards, and activates independent balance per card, which lets you keep separate amounts on each card and use them for different types of expenses.
The maximum balance rises to €15,000 and the purchase limit increases to €5,000. It also adds cashback of up to 15% at selected merchants, the option to get an eSIM for travel and one free SEPA Instant transfer per month. After that, SEPA Instant transfers cost €1 each. External card top-ups include three free top-ups per month, with a daily limit of €200.
Move works well if you use Bitsa often, if you want to split your spending across cards, for example one card for subscriptions, another for everyday expenses and another for a specific project you want to keep under control, or if you want to take advantage of cashback on your regular purchases.
Pro plan: for heavier use
The Pro plan costs €9.99 per month or €69.99 per year. It includes four virtual cards and four physical cards, unlimited maximum balance, a purchase limit of €15,000 and unlimited top-ups.

It also includes four free external card top-ups per month, SEPA transfers with no fee and two free SEPA Instant transfers per month. From the third SEPA Instant transfer onwards, a €1 fee applies per transaction. It keeps the cashback of up to 15% and the eSIM already included in Move.
Pro makes sense if Bitsa is your main payment method, if you move higher amounts, if you manage several budgets or projects in parallel with separate cards, or if you make transfers regularly and want to avoid the €1 fee per transaction that applies in the previous plans.
How to choose the plan that fits you
If you use Bitsa occasionally or want to try it before committing, the Free plan is enough. You pay nothing and have the basic features covered for occasional online purchases or specific expenses.
If you use it often, want to separate spending across several cards or are interested in cashback, the Move plan can pay off from the first month. One regular purchase that activates cashback already helps recover part of the fee, and the independent balance per card gives you room to organise money by category or project.
If you move higher amounts, manage several budgets in parallel or make transfers frequently, the Pro plan removes friction from each operation. Unlimited balance, SEPA transfers with no fee and two free SEPA Instant transfers per month make the difference when your usage volume is high.
You can change plans whenever you want from the app, so you do not have to get it right the first time. If you start with Free and your usage grows, you can upgrade. If you try Pro and do not make the most of it, you can downgrade.

Frequently asked questions about Bitsa plans
FAQ section with the most common questions when comparing plans:
- Can I change plans at any time?
Yes. From the app settings, under “Manage plan”, you can upgrade or downgrade whenever you want. The change does not depend on a closed billing cycle and does not force you to wait. - What happens to my cards and my balance if I downgrade?
Your account balance remains unchanged. As for your cards, if the new plan allows fewer active cards than you currently have, you can adjust the setup from the app. When you delete a card, the associated balance is transferred to the main card. - Does cashback work at any merchant?
No. Cashback of up to 15% applies at selected merchants that are part of the programme. - Can I have cards with independent balances on the Free plan?
No. Independent balance per card is available from the Move plan onwards. On Free, cards share the account balance. - Is the annual plan worth it compared with the monthly plan?
It depends on how long you plan to keep it. With Move, twelve monthly payments add up to €11.88, compared with €8.99 for the annual plan, saving €2.89. With Pro, twelve monthly payments add up to €119.88, compared with €69.99 for the annual plan, saving €49.89. If you know you are going to use the plan for at least several months in a row, the annual payment works out cheaper.
The difference between the three plans is not in isolated features, but in the level of use each one can handle without falling short. Free covers occasional use. Move covers frequent use with multiple cards and cashback. Pro covers intensive use with higher amounts and fee-free transfers. Choose the one that matches how you use the card today, not how you think you might use it a few months from now. If your usage changes, you can change plans.
